A pain in the neck
Sushmita sprains neck while filming song, shooting postponed indefinitely.
Actor Sushmita Sen has injured herself while filming a song sequence during a film shoot at Filmistan recently. She was shooting for a solo rock song for Tanuja Chandra's Zindaggi Rocks.
The song was being choreographed by Farah Khan and was nearing completion when the actor sprained her neck.
Sush says, "Thank God it isn't serious enough to require surgery, but I might need to take traction and do some exercises. I am flooded with phone calls and blessed that people love me so much."
Producer Anuradha Prasad says, "It was rather unfortunate. Her doctor and sister Neelam were there to attend to her and she was taken to the hospital for further tests. Luckily, it's nothing serious. She's now recuperating under the best doctors. Though it's difficult to say for how long she will be out of action. We all just wish her a speedy recovery."
